Her family was located in the luxurious Upper East Side of Manhattan as part of the midst of a Catholic family. For this reason her parents put her into the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. She loved music as a kid. As a child, she began playing the piano. Upon completion of high school she was accepted into New York University's Tisch School of Art to pursue a degree in music.
