Summer Glau, an American actor, is most well-known for her performances as River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. It is also the title of her show The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Besides these she has starred in the series The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as additionally, she guest-starred on the TV shows Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her music career when she was eight in a group formed by Abraham Quintanilla. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and Sister Suzette performed on drums. Selena sang for the group. The band was known as Selena Y Los Dino and Selena would be performing with her siblings at different venues, wedding fairs, bars and many other places. It was busy for Selena as well as her siblings, and they never had much of a childhood but they were encouraged to become dedicated musicians through the perseverance of the father Abraham. Abraham Senior also played in his Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos was founded in the year 1981. The band was a tradition of the family and was the main source of income for the family. Quintanilla's family persevered through the initial years of financial difficulties. Their patience would eventually pay back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the west. The group received their first taste success as Selena was awarded Female Vocalist of Year and Best Performer in the Tejano music awards. From then on, Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top winners over and over again, and gained fame and recognition. They were on numerous Spanish show on TV including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
