Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American artist and actress. She is most famous for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In 2015, she played the role of Jerrica Jem on the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey has been a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years as a child. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice after which she accepted her role in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had the role of a regular in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in made for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In season two, she was a part of Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness in a 2019 interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the best performers under 20 in September 2014.
